Outreach

I currently run the Nevada Native Plant Society’s outreach program in the northern half of the state. I see this role as a valuable opportunity to build community, generate enthusiasm for the remarkable plants and biodiversity found in Nevada, and raise awareness of the role native plants play in maintaining ecosystem services and wildlife habitat. Most of my work involves recruiting and organizing volunteers, developing educational materials, tabling events, and giving talks to a wide range of audiences, including both kids and adults.
